Anchor Counseling & Education Solutions, LLC is a trusted and highly rated provider of special education related services for K-12 schools throughout California. We are urgently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Specialist to join our team! You will provide behavior intervention services and supports for students enrolled in K-12 educational settings in group or individual settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish open lines of communication for students with mental or emotional issues

  • Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis

  • Create, Implement and review treatment plans

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

  • Knowledge of the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis

  • Familiarity with community mental health resources

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Strong leadership qualities

  • Familiarity with technology and IEP databases (Google Suite, Zoom, SEIS)

  • Experience in School Settings

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team

  • Attends and participates in all appropriate staff meetings, department meetings

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed primarily virtual or in home environment or public place.

  • Must have 15-20 hours per week availability to work with students during business hours 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
