What You’ll Do
  • Architect and implement cutting-edge security controls across networks, endpoints, cloud platforms, and applications.
  • Lead security reviews for new systems, vendors, and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and deploy advanced tools (EDR, SIEM, IAM, DLP, vulnerability management).
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to evolving threats.
  • Lead investigations, containment, remediation, and post-incident reviews.
  • Build and refine incident response playbooks and escalation procedures.

  • Enable secure access for remote users, contractors, and partners.
  • Ensure alignment with frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA/HITECH, GDPR, and FedRAMP.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Compliance on policies and controls.
  • Support audits with evidence collection and remediation tracking.
  • Mentor junior security and IT professionals.
  • Embed security into every process and project across departments.
  • Translate technical risks into business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 15 or more years of progressive IT/security experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Network amp; endpoint security
    • Cloud security (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)
    • SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management tools
  • Proven experience leading incident response and investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, Security+, or similar.
  • Experience in regulated environments or federal contracts.
  • Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Familiarity with zero trust and modern security architectures.
  • Analytical problem-solver with sharp judgment.
  • Skilled at balancing multiple priorities.
