This position is staffed at two labor categories: Management Consultant III (MC-III) and Management Consultant IV (MC-IV). The role, responsibilities, and core qualifications are consistent across all levels; the required years of experience, degree of independence, and scope of ownership increase with each level, as shown under Level-Specific Requirements below.

The OneStream Developer supports the OneStream implementation by designing, configuring, developing, testing, and enhancing application capabilities that enable agency finance users to process data, execute workflows, generate reports, and meet federal financial management requirements. This role contributes across platform configuration, business rules, data integration, journal and consolidation logic, reporting objects, and the technical components needed to support accurate processing, reliable performance, and compliant reporting. The developer works closely with functional teams, testers, PMO, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, supportable solutions aligned to federal financial management requirements.

Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and develop OneStream application components to support federal financial management, reporting, and close process requirements.

• Build and enhance business rules, workflow components, metadata structures, and technical objects required for data processing and reporting.

• Support development of cube views, reporting outputs, and related technical configuration for trial balance, financial statements and notes, JVs, and GTAS reporting.

• Assist with source data integration activities, including historical and current data loads, feeder file processing, and mapping support.

• Support development and validation of eliminations logic, consolidation processing, roll-forward logic, rounding logic, and journal-related functionality.

• Partner with functional and data teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and configurable OneStream solutions.

• Participate in system integration testing, UAT support, defect triage, remediation, and retesting for application components and interfaces.

• Troubleshoot configuration, calculation, integration, and reporting issues; identify root causes and coordinate fixes with the broader delivery team.

• Support deployment readiness, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization for core application capabilities and reporting processes.

• Document technical design decisions, configuration rationale, interface logic, test support materials, and handoff artifacts for sustainment teams.

• Support enhancements tied to close process improvements, GTAS integration, Advana integration, and other implementation priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Experience configuring and developing solutions in OneStream or a comparable EPM/CPM platform (e.g., Oracle Hyperion/HFM/Essbase, Anaplan, SAP BPC).

• Working knowledge of application configuration, business rules, workflows, data integration, metadata, and reporting objects.

• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design and implemented configuration.

• Experience supporting financial system implementations, system remediation, or enterprise platform deployments in a structured delivery environment.

• Familiarity with data mappings, feeder files, source-to-target validation, and reconciliation support.

• Experience supporting testing activities, including SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production readiness.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across configuration, calculations, integrations, and reporting outputs.

• Ability to work effectively with functional, data, testing, PMO, and client teams.

• Strong documentation skills for technical designs, configuration workbooks, issue logs, and handoff materials.

• Familiarity with federal reporting processes, GTAS-related integration needs, or controlled federal implementation environments is preferred.

• DoD Experience a plus
