We're seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Leader to lead the continued growth of our Southern California Plumbing business. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven sales professional who combines strategic business development expertise with strong leadership capabilities to expand market share, strengthen customer relationships, develop sales talent, and help shape the future of one of our fastest-growing regions. The ideal candidate is an experienced plumbing industry professional with a history of delivering exceptional sales results, leading by example, and building lasting relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

Drive Strategic Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share throughout Southern California.
  • Build and strengthen long-term partnerships with plumbing contractors, mechanical contractors, developers, engineers, and other key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and strategic projects.
  • Conduct customer visits, job site meetings, business reviews, and product presentations.
  • Deliver consultative solutions by providing expert product knowledge and technical guidance.

Own Strategic Customer Relationships

  • Serve as the trusted business advisor and primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts.
  • Manage opportunities from prospecting through project completion while ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Follow up on quotations, bids, and project opportunities to maximize sales conversion.
  • Increase customer retention, wallet share, and long-term account profitability.

Lead and Develop Sales Talent

  • Mentor, coach, and influence sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-first service.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Partner with leadership on recruiting, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives.

Collaborate Across the Business

  • Partner closely with Purchasing, Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Work alongside manufacturers and vendor partners to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and strategic account plans.


Qualifications:

We're looking for a proven sales leader who brings:

  • 7–10 years of successful commercial and residential plumbing sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales and profitability goals.
  • Deep knowledge of plumbing products, applications, and market trends.
  • Proven leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing successful sales professionals.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and strategic accounts.
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Southern California.
