Remote Hunting Industry information

What is a remote hunting industry job?

A Remote Hunting Industry job involves working in roles related to hunting, conservation, outdoor gear, or guiding services while operating remotely. Positions can include customer support for hunting equipment companies, marketing for outdoor brands, content creation, or even virtual planning for hunting trips. These jobs typically require knowledge of hunting, wildlife management, or outdoor gear. Remote work allows professionals to contribute to the hunting industry without being physically present in the field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the remote hunting industry?

To excel in the remote hunting industry, you need strong knowledge of wildlife management, outdoor survival, and regulations, often supported by experience in guiding, outfitting, or wildlife conservation. Familiarity with GPS mapping, remote communication tools, and digital record-keeping systems is commonly required, along with certifications such as hunter safety or first aid. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills distinguish candidates who can manage clients and unexpected challenges effectively. These abilities ensure safety, legal compliance, and a high-quality client experience in a remote, often unpredictable setting.

What are common challenges faced when working remotely in the hunting industry?

Professionals in the remote hunting industry often face challenges related to working in isolated environments, adapting to weather changes, and ensuring clear communication with both clients and team members. Maintaining safety standards and compliance with local wildlife regulations, sometimes with limited onsite supervision, can add complexity to the role. Additionally, professionals need to quickly troubleshoot equipment issues and provide a high level of service to diverse clients. However, team coordination through remote communication tools and strong logistical planning can help address many of these challenges. Adapting to these unique conditions allows for a rewarding and adventurous career.

Enterprise Account Executive
Company Mission - Our mission is to help secure as many companies as possible, by using the best way of doing so, penetration testing. Sprocket Security prioritizes offensive security for enterprises, empowering them to build robust defense strategies based on individual business risk.
How - At Sprocket Security, we've built an expert-driven Continuous Penetration Testing platform that blends cutting-edge automated and manual testing methods.
Your Mission - As a key member of our dynamic team, you will drive sales strategy and execution to accounts in your assigned territory. Your mission will be to develop new business for our expert-driven Continuous Penetration Testing Platform. Our platform empowers enterprises to safeguard their digital assets and infrastructure proactively.
Responsibilities:
  • Hunt for net new business within your assigned territory.
  • Own the full sales cycle from identifying new prospects to closing deals.
  • Exceed quota and drive revenue growth to help position Sprocket Security as a market leader.
  • Take full ownership of guiding prospects through the sales cycle. Identify and implement strategies to shorten the sales cycle when appropriate.
  • Follow the MEDDPIC sales methodology to effectively evaluate complex deals, identify high-potential opportunities, and improve win rates.
  • Identify and understand the unique technical needs of our clients. Guide them toward the appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Business Development Representatives to identify new strategies for prospecting. Continuously refine and improve our sales processes.
  • Drive a culture of sales excellence and participate in organisational development by sharing best practice.
  • Participate actively in the cybersecurity community, attending events and contributing to thought leadership. Showcase our expertise and build strong industry relationships.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to create informative content that amplifies the value of our services.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Service Delivery and Product Management.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • Proven and quantifiable success hunting for net new logos.
  • Proven experience building a greenfield territory.
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you are the driving force behind every stage of the sales funnel. You must be a hunter, not a farmer.
  • Proven experience selling Cyber Security SaaS products and Services.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding quota. Must be able to demonstrate.
  • Can understand and speak the language of cybersecurity.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to perform presentations.

Preferred:
  • Experience working for an Offensive Security vendor.
  • Experience working both direct and with partners in the sales cycle.
  • Active participation in the Infosec community.
  • Strong relationships in the industry.
  • Record exceeding sales quotas and achieving prestigious recognition, such as Presidents Club or equivalent sales club status.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (4-year degree).

Benefits:
  • Unlimited and mandatory PTO for healthy work/life balance.
  • Company matched 401k (immediate eligibility, no one should have to wait to start saving).
  • 75% company contribution for health insurance for employees and 50% for dependants.
  • 100% company contribution for dental and vision.
  • Work whatever schedule works best for you. We care about results, not 9-5.
  • Hardware and tools of your choice
  • Support for your career development with paid training, conferences, certifications, etc.
