Barracuda Networks is seeking an Onboarding Engineer as a technical contributor bringing security software implementation, networking, and configuration expertise to Barracuda’s Customer Success Team.  In addition to delivering advanced technical implementations, this individual will act as a technical escalation point within the Customer Success team, mentor peers, troubleshoot complex configurations, and share in developing best-practice technical solutions.  
 
What you’ll do: 
  • Deliver implementations and integrations for Barracuda security products. 
  • Lead advanced and technically-focused Professional Services and Onboarding engagements for Barracuda’s security products and solutions. 
  • Support the design and development of scalable experiences that accelerate time-to-value and deliver measurable business outcomes. 
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to align activities with success metrics and product outcomes. 
  • Perform technical risk assessments, health checks, and ensure smooth handoffs to Customer Success/Support. 
  • Support the development of self-service content and playbooks; oversee and support customers undertaking self-service 
  • Monitor metrics and provide insights to boost velocity, adoption, and satisfaction. 
  • Mentor and cross-train other staff members 
 
What you’ll bring: 
  • 3+ years of experience in security software implementation, network architecture, and complex customer deployments; hands-on experience with Barracuda security products is a plus. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, CISM, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications) a plus. 
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills; ability to supervise and develop junior engineers, and to act as a technical escalation authority. 
  • Deep knowledge of email security (threat detection, phishing, ransomware) and networking fundamentals and security architectures (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, TLS, IAM, zero-trust, etc.). 
  • Experience with command line as well as log review and analysis to pinpoint issues 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives and technical stakeholders. 
  • Proven ability to translate product features into business outcomes; strong communication skills. 
  • KPI literacy (time-to-value, adoption, CSAT/NPS); content/playbook development experience. 
  • Global, cross-functional collaboration. 
 
What you’ll get from us
The anticipated salary range for this role is 85,000 to 110,000 OTE. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
