Join Medavie and help deliver quality service to our members by supporting the processing of health and dental insurance claims.


Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze health and dental insurance claims to determine the eligibility of submitted expenses.
  • Apply established coverage provisions, policies, and procedures to approve or deny claims.
  • Obtain the information required to process claims by communicating with members by phone or in writing.
  • Enter, update, and validate data within the claims processing system.
  • Interact with various computer systems to assess member eligibility and coverage details.
  • Conduct the necessary research and verification activities to support claim assessment.
  • Create and maintain records for self-billed members.
  • Perform manual calculations when claims cannot be processed automatically by the system.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • College diploma (DEC) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and spoken French.
  • Good written English skills.
  • Knowledge of health and dental insurance is considered an asset.
  • LOMA 1 and 2 courses completed in accordance with company policy are considered an asset.
