Position Summary
The HR Generalist partners closely with HR Business Partners and People Leaders to support team members and leaders, ensuring our team members are well supported and have an exceptional employment experience.
A Day in the Life of This Role
  • Provide sound coaching and guidance on workplace issues, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, performance management, and overall employee relations.
  • Guide and coach leaders through performance conversations and documentation.
  • Conduct compensation market reviews and internal compensation reviews to provide timely feedback and guidance while ensuring consistent and fair application of RAS compensation philosophy and expectations.
  • Respond to team member questions and provide guidance and support
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws and practices, ensuring consistent application and compliance.
  • Support HRBPs with unemployment claims, state notifications, subpoenas, file requests, and employment verification.
  • Back up our amazing Benefits and Leaves Specialist for Benefits, LOA, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, and Open Enrollment.
  • Review change forms for compliance and accuracy, identifying, documenting, and communicating trends to HRBP.
  • Create reports and data sets, leveraging the data to provide insights and build action plans
  • Review escalated background check results against requirements to determine eligibility
  • Other functions such as exit surveys, engagement and recognition programs, team member feedback review and responses,
  • Other HR project and program work as assigned

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and HR certification preferred
  • 2+ years of HR related professional work experience, preferrably with heavy employee relations involvement
  • Experience working with technology and systems, including HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems, and MS Office programs.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing credibility and building collaborative, supportive partnerships across an organization.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain organization, and effectively manage and prioritize shifting work responsibilities.
  • Capable of generating HR reports and translating effectively to tell a clear message.
  • Ability to take insights and turn them into actionable plans is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
