Exercise Support Lead
The Opportunity:
As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.
What You'll Work On:
  • Oversee exercise support, consisting of exercise coordinators, ARCHER analysts, and Simulation Control Plan (SCP) and Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Document (ESMED) developers.
  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of internal SOPs and policies.
  • Ensure all Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) requirements are submitted on-time and that they meet or exceed standards.
  • Deploy forward during training events and fill the role of an exercise coordinator at forward sites.
  • Motivate team members and facilitate team meetings.
  • Provide guidance to the team on development, performance, and productivity issues.
  • Represent the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Report to organization management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity.

You Have:
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in the military, or 10+ years of experience in the military in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience as an exercise coordinator
  • Experience as a field grade officer, warrant officer, or sergeant major
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at the brigade or battalion level
  • Experience with Constructive Simulation Models such as the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) or Warfighters Simulation (WARSIM)
  • Experience working with the Mission Command Training Program (MCTP)
  • Master's degree

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
