Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders understand core business problems
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-user and API-driven middleware applications
  • Develop and maintain software documentation as needed
  • Participate in software code and design reviews
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical issues
  • Stay up to date with emerging software development technologies and trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline
  • 4 years of related work experience
  • Hands on experience developing software applications using modern languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, Typescript, HTML/CSS or similar
  • Understands User Interface design principles and how to work effectively with design teams
  • Understands API-driven data middleware architectures and best practices
  • Understands software security, software development and cloud deployment operations
  • Familiar with Azure cloud services and data pipelines, Git-based DevSecOps deployments, and Kubernetes containerization orchestration strategies, ETL development and data warehousing
  • Understands and practices agile software development methodologies
  • Great communication (written and oral) skills to be able to communicate cross-functional teams
  • Ability to obtain US DoD Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance or higher is desired
  • IAT Level II Security Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience using Github/Gitlab with emphasis on Git-based deployment strategies
  • Experience developing in R (language) and/or Python leveraging Posit's RStudio and Shiny
  • Experience applying AI/ML technologies and best practices applied to business enterprise data
