Job description

Job Title: Litigation Attorney- Arizona Location: Phoenix, Arizona Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100,000.00 - $165,000.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote Hours: 40.0 Security Clearance: Not specified

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Handle a caseload of mortgage and real estate related litigation and appeals on behalf of secured lienholders, title companies, lenders, mortgage servicers, and investors.
  • Assist in drafting all pleadings, motions, briefs, etc., as required during the course of a lawsuit.
  • Attend hearings and court appearances across the State and Federal Courts of Arizona.
  • Maintain a large caseload with the ability to multi-task and utilize excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of litigation experience, with prior courtroom experience required.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona.
  • Strong advocacy ability and positive presence.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Licensed in AZ.
  • No minimum experience requirements specified beyond 0.
