• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients' needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. You will develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique challenges faced by each client.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) that are proven effective in treating anxiety, trauma, depression, and other mental health conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency policies, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
• Conduct regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings, enhancing the shared knowledge and fostering continuous professional development within the team.
• Provide education and resources to clients and their families regarding mental health issues, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their treatment journey effectively.
• Stay informed about advancements in mental health research and integrate new strategies into your practice, ensuring clients benefit from the most current therapeutic techniques.

Your work at Nelvana Psychological Center will directly impact a diverse array of clients facing complex mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and family conflicts. • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Washington.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and the ability to apply various therapeutic methodologies tailored to client needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the establishment of effective therapeutic relationships.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving in complex clinical scenarios.
