Capture & Competitive Strategy

  • Lead capture for large‐scale opportunities ($50M–$1B+).
  • Shape priority IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and defense‐specific contract vehicles.
  • Implement disciplined capture processes: competitive intelligence, price‐to‐win, solution positioning.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for must‐win programs and strategic recompetes.

Mission & Solution Alignment

  • Represent ASG at industry days, defense forums, and strategic briefings.
  • Develop teaming strategies with large primes, integrators, OEMs, and emerging technology partners.

Leadership & Governance

  • Build and lead high‐performing BD, capture, and proposal teams.

  • 15+ years leading federal growth within defense or homeland security markets.
  • Proven success winning and scaling contracts across DoD or DHS.
  • Deep understanding of defense acquisition pathways and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience leading large IDIQ pursuits and strategic recompetes.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage senior defense stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Prior P&L ownership or direct accountability for revenue growth, margin performance, and book‐to‐bill results.
  • Experience supporting defense IT modernization, mission systems integration, cybersecurity, zero trust, cloud transformation, C5ISR, or classified environments.
  • Familiarity with acquisition models and contracting approaches within the U.S. DoD, DISA, US Army, or DHS.
