Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions designed to address the unique mental health needs of clients in a virtual setting.
  • Perform intake assessments, develop comprehensive treatment plans, and establish measurable goals tailored to each client's circumstances.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and psychiatrists, to coordinate holistic care and support services.
  • Utilize various counseling techniques and interventions—including but not limited to trauma-informed care, grief counseling, and addiction counseling—to tailor conversations and treatment plans effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on clients dealing with a range of issues, including ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. By employing evidence-based practices, you will engage clients in meaningful dialogue that supports their recovery journey and enhances their overall well-being. Your approach will include advocating for client needs and linking them to additional resources and support systems where necessary.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
  • Current and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in Washington State.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional mental health counseling experience, particularly with children or adolescents in clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of counseling techniques and modalities, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral approaches, grief counseling, and substance use interventions.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
