• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that consider the cultural and personal experiences of patients to create tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, aimed at addressing various mental health concerns while promoting resilience and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, managing urgent mental health emergencies with professionalism and composure.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and connecting them with crucial community resources.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case conferences and team meetings, actively participating in training sessions focused on cultural competency and best practices in therapy.
• Continually update your knowledge on the latest research and trends in mental health to enhance service delivery.

Your primary focus will be individuals from varied backgrounds, including ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrants. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C, allowing you to practice in Maryland.
• A deep understanding of mental health disorders supported by evidence-based treatment methodologies with a commitment to cultural competence.
• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using methodologies that are inclusive and culturally responsive.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, with an ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology applications.
• A commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• Previous experience in a community health setting, specifically working with underrepresented populations.
