• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments during virtual consultations to understand each client's mental health needs, using our specially designed teletherapy platform.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions via secure video calls, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients effectively manage their emotional and psychological challenges.
• Document client interactions and progress accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and compliant with California regulations.
• Participate in team meetings via video conferencing to discuss client progress and collaborate on treatment planning with fellow counselors, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training and workshops focused on best practices in digital therapy.
• Contribute proactive ideas for improving patient care programs and operational efficiency in line with telehealth guidelines.

As a Remote Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various emotional and mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will provide culturally competent care, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client while supporting their journey towards emotional healing and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active California license/certification (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) to provide psychotherapy services.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients through virtual channels.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience working with individuals facing emotional and mental health issues is preferred.
• Experience using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation tools will be beneficial for efficient practice management.
