• Provide empathetic and engaging therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments, helping clients articulate their mental health challenges and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.
• Document all clinical notes and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring the highest standards of patient privacy.
• Build and sustain respectful and trusting relationships with clients, promoting open communication for effective therapy.
• Act as an advocate for clients in crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate intervention strategies.
• Manage a caseload effectively, adhering to scheduling expectations while remaining responsive to client needs.
• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities to contribute to a culture of learning and growth.

The therapist will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health disorders, couples facing relationship challenges, and families navigating complex dynamics. Our clinic prioritizes culturally competent care and strives to meet the unique needs of the Palm Springs community.

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current, active, and unrestricted LMFT licensure in California.
• Thorough understanding of California's legal and ethical standards concerning mental health services.
• Strong clinical foundation with at least two years of relevant therapy experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
• Ability to remain calm and effective when addressing crisis situations and facilitating emergency interventions.
• Flexibility and adaptability in working with a broad spectrum of client issues, including but not limited to mental health disorders and relationship/family dynamics.
• In-depth knowledge of ethical guidelines and confidentiality protocols, including HIPAA compliance.

• Experience in a community health clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapy techniques.

The compensation for this role is competitive, with a salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
