About the Opportunity

Are you a consultative sales professional who enjoys building relationships and solving real problems for clients? Premiere SAV is seeking a Sales Advisor to join our team and play a central role in growing our business across home and business automation, audio/video, lighting, shading, and security solutions.

In this client-facing role, you will consult with residential and commercial clients to understand their lifestyle, technology, and budget needs, then collaborate with our Design, Technology Advisor, and Operations teams to develop and close technically sound proposals. You will guide clients through the full journey, from initial consultation through job-site walkthroughs to a smooth handoff to Operations once a project is sold.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with residential and commercial clients to understand their lifestyle, technology, and budget requirements for audio/video, automation, lighting, shading, and security systems.
  • Collaborate with System Designers, Technology Advisors, and Project Managers to translate client needs into complete, technically sound solutions and proposals.
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work, equipment lists, and pricing using company tools and standards, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
  • Present proposed solutions to clients, address questions and objections, and guide clients through the decision-making process to close sales in line with revenue targets.
  • Conduct job-site visits and walkthroughs with clients, builders, architects, and designers to confirm designs and identify additional opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, quotes, and client communication within the CRM and other sales systems.
  • Coordinate a thorough handoff of sold projects to Operations, including documentation and client expectations.
  • Stay current on Premiere SAV product lines, manufacturer offerings, and industry trends to confidently recommend technologies and demonstrate systems effectively.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in consultative sales, account management, or a related client-facing role required
  • Flexibility for occasional travel and after-hours meetings, events, or client support required
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar productivity tools required
  • Experience working collaboratively with operations, design, or technical staff to deliver client solutions required
  • Sales experience in custom integration, audio/video, home automation, or related luxury residential or commercial technology markets, plus
  • Familiarity with reading construction drawings, floor plans, or low-voltage plans plus
  • Formal training or certification in consultative, solution-based, or relationship sales methodologies plus
  • Experience using CRM and quoting tools in a fast-paced, project-based sales environment, plus

What We Offer

  • Base salary of $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus on-target earnings (OTE) of $85,000–$140,000+
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one remote day per week and occasional travel for meetings, events, or client support
