Are you an experienced PMHNP looking for a part-time, 100% virtual opportunity? Mindoula is dedicated to transforming the behavioral health system. Our approach prioritizes individuals over diagnoses, focusing on holistic care for every person we serve.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable PMHNP to join our clinical team in a part-time, W-2 capacity. This role offers the flexibility of remote overnight call coverage during the week (with the option to participate in onsite weekend or weekday call and rounding rotations if desired).

Position Overview

The PMHNP will provide virtual overnight weekday call coverage by telephone for one or more partner hospitals. Responsibilities include remote psychiatric consultation, patient assessments, and treatment recommendations in collaboration with onsite clinical teams. Candidates should be comfortable managing risk, exercising sound clinical judgment, and communicating effectively with multidisciplinary staff.

Schedule and Shift Requirements

  • Friday Rotation: As part of the weekly requirement, providers must work every other Friday as one of their required weekly shifts.
  • Overnight Weekday Call Guidelines:
    • Each hospital covered during an overnight weekday call shift counts as one call shift.
    • Covering two hospitals in the same evening counts as two shifts.
    • Providers may elect to schedule and work additional overnight call shifts beyond the required weekly minimum as shifts become available.
What We're Looking For
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
  • Active APRN license in Maryland with current CDS and DEA registrations.
  • Committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Prior experience providing psychiatric evaluation and treatment in inpatient or acute care settings is required.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with hospital-based clinical teams.
  • Reliable access to phone service and a secure, private environment for confidential calls.
Locations Served
