Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, examining multifaceted factors impacting patient wellbeing, including co-existing medical conditions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate therapeutic interventions addressing both mental health and medical needs.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to the unique challenges faced by each patient.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with medical professionals to ensure coordinated care and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and comprehensive support during mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on the interconnections between mental health and overall physical wellness, empowering them with skills to manage their conditions actively.
• Secure and maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, adhering strictly to confidentiality laws and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning sessions to enhance integrated service delivery.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of integrated mental health care, assimilating new knowledge into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient community includes individuals with diverse mental health concerns and comorbid medical conditions, ranging from autoimmune diseases and chronic pain to substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in addressing the specific needs of these patients, building therapeutic rapport, and guiding them through their individual journeys towards improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and addressing the interrelation of mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trusting relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards, with a strong respect for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and associated digital tools for effective documentation and communication.
• A proven ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience providing therapy to patients with co-occurring conditions.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and integrated care practices.
• Experience in a remote care environment, adapting methods to ensure effective patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
