Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage in a series of vital tasks aimed at improving the mental health and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs.
• Developing tailored treatment plans in accordance with best practices and evidence-based approaches.
• Administering therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team including physicians, nurses, and mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participating in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to enhance patient outcomes.
• Providing educational resources and support to patients and their families about mental health issues and available treatment options.
• Staying updated with current developments in the mental health field to integrate new knowledge into practice.
• Managing a full caseload effectively while ensuring adherence to ethical standards and professional guidelines as prescribed by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients facing significant emotional and psychological challenges associated with terminal illnesses. Our patient population includes individuals and families in need of supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and end-of-life care strategies. Your empathetic engagement will be crucial in helping them navigate their unique journeys, fostering a culture of dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Michigan.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with a focus on providing psychotherapy services in mental health settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of solution-focused psychotherapy methods.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with diverse clients.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
