Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs while formulating individualized treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.
• Delivering evidence-based therapy sessions through secure virtual platforms, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for clients.
• Engaging in regular collaborative sessions with clients to establish and adjust therapeutic goals as necessary, providing ongoing guidance and support throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Implementing diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to clients' unique preferences and treatment objectives, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or mindfulness-based approaches.
• Maintaining timely and meticulous documentation of all therapy sessions and client progress in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will benefit a diverse client population facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges. By using a compassionate and individualized approach, you will help clients navigate their personal experiences and achieve greater mental wellness. Understanding the unique backgrounds and needs of each client is vital for driving successful therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build a strong therapeutic presence and rapport with clients in a virtual environment.
• A capacity for empathy, compassion, and a deep understanding of clients' individual experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively coordinate therapy sessions, documentation, and follow-up care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care or CBT will be highly regarded. Experience in remote counseling settings and familiarity with telehealth software will also provide a distinct advantage in optimizing client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

Inner Bliss Therapeutic Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with caseload and experience. Included in our benefits package are:
