Work Environment

This role is designed for high-impact professionals who thrive in a remote outpatient environment. The position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience, while also requiring occasional in-office collaboration for team meetings and case consultations. The work hours are predominantly Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis, providing a structured yet adaptable workplace that accommodates both professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to thoroughly evaluate clients exhibiting symptoms of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and goals, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Offer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, maintaining comprehensive records that adhere to legal and ethical standards, while making adjustments to treatment as necessary.
• Engage with clients and their families, educating them on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to promote recovery and wellness.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless continuity of care, integrating medical and therapeutic interventions.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field, applying this knowledge to enhance therapeutic practices and patient outcomes.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities, contributing to the collective knowledge and skills of our team.
• Advocate for clients, helping to de-stigmatize mood disorders and promoting understanding within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice caters to a varied patient population, primarily focusing on individuals grappling with mood disorders. This includes adults experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges associated with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Your role will be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their complexities and achieve positive mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts is required.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health theories, principles, and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a specialization in mood disorders is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in employing therapeutic modalities like CBT and DBT that have yielded successful treatment outcomes.
• Strong comprehension of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills that facilitate the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a generous sign-on bonus.
