• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use history and mental health status, tailoring approaches to individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and any co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate extensively with other professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to coordinate and enhance client care.
• Educate clients' families about addiction and recovery processes, providing them with tools and support for active involvement in treatment.
• Maintain meticulous records of client progress and treatment interventions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Your primary focus will be on adults facing substance use disorders, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and promoting lasting recovery. This role will also involve working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders, necessitating a nuanced understanding of how mental health issues can interplay with addiction.

• A valid professional license as a Mental Health Counselor, such as LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of a Master's degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Specialized training or work experience in addiction counseling, with demonstrated success in treatment outcomes.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and dual-diagnosis patients.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking client progress.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills and a proven record of motivating clients through the recovery process.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
