This role is responsible for expanding Soutron Global's market share by establishing and cultivating relationships, building a qualified pipeline of prospective clients. The ideal candidate will bring innovative thought leadership, presenting compelling solutions and insights that create demand for Soutron's products and services. This includes educating potential clients on industry trends, best practices, and aligning solutions to their needs.
The Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of effective sales strategies, successfully closing new deals to drive revenue growth.
This is a remote role, offering you the autonomy to manage your territory while collaborating closely with our sales and marketing team.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation and Pipeline Management: Actively prospect and nurture leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Outbound Sales Generation: Develop and maintain your own outbound sales pipeline with support from our marketing team.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact and qualification to demo, proposal and close.
  • RFP / RFI Management: Lead the preparation and submission of comprehensive and compelling RFI/RFP responses.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Product Knowledge: Become a subject matter expert on our SaaS solutions, effectively demonstrating their value to prospective customers during online demonstrations via Teams / Zoom.
  • Reporting: Accurately forecast sales and provide weekly reports on your sales funnel metrics and sales qualified activities.
  • Travel: Attend international conferences and events as required to represent Soutron Global.
  • Work with our global teams in the USA, Canada and UK, remotely

Required Experience
  • SaaS Sales: A minimum of 5 years of successful, demonstrable experience in SaaS sales.
  • Sales and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills, including PowerPoint. You must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Information Management Background: Experience working in or selling vertical SaaS to museums, archives, gov tech, public library and corporate information services markets is a significant advantage.
  • RFP / RFI Expertise: Proven experience in managing and responding to detailed RFI/RFP requests.
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with popular CRM and sales pipeline management tools is highly desirable.
  • Remote Work: The ability to work autonomously and effectively from a home office.
