As a Mental Health Counselor at Cherry Blossum HealthCare, you will work from the comfort of your home while enjoying the support and guidance of a collaborative team of mental health professionals. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s mental health backgrounds, circumstances, and needs, using standardized assessment tools as part of the process.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and solution-focused therapy.
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients that align with their aspirations and challenges, implementing regular progress check-ins to adapt the course of treatment as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy sessions via secure platforms, ensuring accessibility for clients who may face geographical or mobility constraints, thus broadening the scope of support available to them.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment notes, and session progress to comply with ethical standards and state regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning through professional development workshops, attending training sessions, and participating in peer supervision to ensure you remain informed of the latest therapeutic practices and frameworks.

We serve a diverse client base experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and stress management. Your role will involve not only addressing their immediate concerns but also providing long-term support aimed at fostering resilience and personal growth. You will be particularly focused on creating a safe and trusting environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and emotions.

• A current and valid license in the state of Illinois as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients, exhibiting a deep understanding of their needs and experiences.
• Exemplary organizational skills that enable effective caseload management and timely completion of administrative tasks.

• Experience in providing telehealth services, with a familiarity of using various video conferencing platforms.
• Prior work in community health settings or private practice environments, particularly with underserved populations.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices specifically adapted for remote therapy.
