• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to accurately identify mental health concerns and needs, thus laying the groundwork for effective treatment planning.
• Design and implement individualized therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, thereby promoting personal growth and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with clients to establish therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions to provide accessible support to clients with mobility challenges or preference for virtual treatment options, ensuring they receive timely assistance.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities, staying current with emerging mental health practices and enhancing your clinical competencies for the benefit of your clients.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other mental health issues. Your role will involve connecting with clients from various backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences, and providing them with tailored therapeutic interventions designed to support their specific mental health journeys.

• A current and valid license in the state of Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or PsyD.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and open dialogue with clients, facilitating deeper therapeutic engagement.
