Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored treatment plans for clients.
  • Facilitating weekly group therapy sessions with a maximum of 8 participants to foster in-depth discussion and support.
  • Providing individual therapy sessions, addressing client-specific goals and challenges.
  • Collaborating with our Admissions and Assessment team to streamline client service and improve overall care quality.
  • Engaging in regular case discussions with fellow clinicians to share insights and develop best practices.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and client progress records in our telehealth platform.
  • Staying current with state license requirements and accessing free CEUs provided by the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adolescent and young adult clients who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges. By dedicating time to understand their unique experiences, you will foster individualized care that leads to positive outcomes. The telehealth model allows for greater accessibility, ensuring you can reach clients who may otherwise face barriers to accessing mental health services.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
  • Licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT is mandatory; junior-licensed professionals are encouraged to apply, with supervision provided.
  • Availability to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week for a contract position, or full-time availability for W2 positions (40 hours per week).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience

While not obligatory, the following experiences are preferred:

  • Previous work experience in adolescent mental health or substance use treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits
