The clinic is open Monday through Saturday, allowing for a diverse array of scheduling options. MedCore also provides in-house credentialing and efficient management of insurance participation, making administrative tasks straightforward and allowing counselors to focus on their primary role of providing care.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments across various demographics, including individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, to determine their specific needs and treatment plans.
• Perform initial comprehensive assessments that involve collaborating closely with patients and their families to triage care and develop individualized treatment strategies.
• Maintain proactive communication with fellow healthcare professionals through detailed documentation and participation in interdisciplinary meetings, such as patient rounds, to create cohesive and effective care plans.
• Exhibit the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively address the wide-ranging physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients regardless of age.
• Manage cases for assigned patients, engaging in consultations with community professionals and programs to ensure holistic care is provided.
• Ensure ethical and timely completion of documentation in accordance with clinical standards and departmental expectations.
• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatment modalities to assist patients in achieving their therapeutic goals as outlined in their individualized service plans.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population that includes various age groups, encompassing individuals facing mental health crises, chronic mental health conditions, and those seeking preventive mental health support. • Candidates must possess a valid mental health licensure as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as mandated by the state.
• Must be willing to dedicate between 10 to 40 hours per week or more to effectively meet the needs of clients.
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a relevant mental health setting is required.

While not mandatory, applicants with prior experience in community mental health settings, working with varied age groups, or familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy methodologies will be viewed favorably. Additional specialty certifications or training in trauma-informed care or substance abuse would be beneficial.
