Position Summary: (Hybrid or Remote)

Health insurance claim follow up including filing appeals, submitting supporting documentation, requesting reconsideration via phone or online to ensure accurate claim payment is received.  Timely and accurate resolution of assigned claims in accordance to department policies and procedures.  Professional written communication through system notes, appeal forms and emails.  Follow up as needed with payers until claim resolution is obtained.  Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values. 

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:   

Education: Associate degree or 2 years relevant experience
