Position Overview

Harmonius Mental Health Services is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our growing team of professionals. This full-time position allows for a unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health care to diverse populations in our outpatient psychiatric office located in Springfield, Illinois. Work Environment

The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, develop effective treatment plans, and monitor progress regularly.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that encourage community engagement and provide a safe space for addressing common mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a continuum of care and support for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support.
  • Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records while adhering to legal and ethical standards in documentation.
  • Actively engage in professional development activities, including attending team meetings and case consultations, to stay informed of the latest trends and advancements in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The candidate will be responsible for working with a diverse patient population in Springfield, IL. Our clients range across various age groups and socio-economic backgrounds, each presenting unique mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
