Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions via video conference, ensuring each interaction is ethical, empathetic, and supportive.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities to navigate client-specific challenges and establish effective treatment methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and mental health goals.
• Facilitate insights into client experiences, emotions, and interpersonal relationships, helping them to cultivate self-awareness.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback, focusing on implementing healthy coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults who reach out for assistance with a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to stress management. Understanding and empathy will be key as you work to enhance their mental health and overall quality of life, building a rapport that encourages honest and open communication.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Must hold one of the following licenses to practice independently: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No provisional or limited licenses will be accepted; candidates must not have any disciplinary actions in their history.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with clients and provide empathetic support.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with digital counseling tools.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience working within an online counseling environment or proficiency in various therapeutic techniques is a plus. We value therapists who continually seek professional development and are open to learning new methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000, depending on your hours and level of experience. Additional benefits include a substantial sign-on bonus, weekly direct deposit for convenience, and a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors, allowing you to prioritize your health while you help others.
