• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring individualized care that aligns with their specific needs.
• Deliver individual and family therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Complete necessary billing documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within specified timelines, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, and relapse prevention plans, tailoring each plan to meet the unique circumstances of the patient.
• Create and implement discharge plans that support continuity of care and patient self-sufficiency.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies, to maintain standards of care and organizational integrity.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and education, enhancing your skills and staying current with best practices.
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with peers to foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training prior to working with patients.

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma. Our clinic emphasizes culturally competent care, recognizing the importance of understanding patients' backgrounds and tailoring therapy accordingly. By engaging with individuals and families, you will have the opportunity to create a meaningful impact, assisting them in navigating their mental health journeys.

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
• A valid and active mental health therapist license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in community health settings or those familiar with trauma-informed care approaches will be highly regarded. Experience providing therapy to diverse populations enhances your qualification for this position.
