The Growth and Grace Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. • Conduct thorough assessments: Perform initial client interviews, document findings, and create comprehensive mental health evaluations to inform treatment plans.
• Develop and implement treatment plans: Collaboratively design and adjust individualized recovery plans for clients, incorporating therapeutic methodologies tailored to their specific needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions: Facilitate structured individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on various mental health issues and recovery strategies.
• Monitor progress: Track client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on observed development and feedback.
• Coordinate care: Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to create cohesive intervention plans for clients.
• Follow up: Stay engaged with clients and their support systems, including family members and primary caregivers, to promote sustained recovery post-treatment.
• Address barriers to recovery: Identify behavioral patterns or external factors hindering client progress, and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges.

Our clients come from various backgrounds and face a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The Growth and Grace Counseling Center emphasizes a client-centered approach, ensuring that treatment is individualized and culturally sensitive. You will work with individuals, couples, families, and groups, all while fostering a compassionate atmosphere where clients feel safe to express their experiences and struggles.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to engage with clients effectively.
• In-depth understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based interventions.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, enabling efficient documentation and care coordination.
• Previous experience in a counseling or mental health role, particularly in community health settings.
• Knowledge of addiction disorders and their treatment, as well as familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Experience in working with clients with co-occurring physical and behavioral health conditions.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
