The Growth and Grace Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will play a pivotal role in conducting evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering both individual and group therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments: Perform initial client interviews, document findings, and create comprehensive mental health evaluations to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans: Collaboratively design and adjust individualized recovery plans for clients, incorporating therapeutic methodologies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions: Facilitate structured individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on various mental health issues and recovery strategies.
  • Monitor progress: Track client progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to intervention strategies based on observed development and feedback.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities to engage with clients effectively.
  • In-depth understanding of mental health conditions and evidence-based interventions.
Preferred Experience
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, enabling efficient documentation and care coordination.
  • Previous experience in a counseling or mental health role, particularly in community health settings.
  • Knowledge of addiction disorders and their treatment, as well as familiarity with the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Experience in working with clients with co-occurring physical and behavioral health conditions.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
