Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify mental health needs, allowing for tailored treatment planning.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring the privacy and comfort of clients during sessions.
• Guide clients in establishing personal therapeutic goals, providing continuous support and adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure progress.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, to meet individual client preferences and needs.
• Maintain comprehensive records of therapy sessions, therapies provided, and client progress to inform ongoing treatment and meet organizational documentation standards.

The clients served through Recalibrating Life Counseling Services come from diverse backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The remote nature of our services allows us to reach individuals in various communities, ensuring that many who may not have access to local mental health resources can still receive professional support tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications

• A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, reflecting a solid foundation in therapeutic principles and practices.
• Demonstrated proficiency in building rapport and maintaining a therapeutic alliance remotely, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to empathy, compassion, and cultural competency when engaging with clients.

Preferred Experience

• At least three years of clinical experience in providing therapy in various settings, including community health, private practice, or other mental health environments.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and the technology necessary for effective remote counseling.
• A demonstrated history of successfully working with a diverse client population.
