Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a strong, positive rapport with patients to foster trust and open communication.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and determine the best course of treatment for each client.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, circumstances, and goals of each patient.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessment results.
• Monitor patient progress through systematic evaluations, ensuring therapy remains aligned with their evolving needs.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals and specialists by providing referrals to external resources when necessary to enhance patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay informed about the latest evidence-based therapy practices.
• Document patient interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals seeking personal development, couples in relationship distress, and families facing systemic challenges. The population you will serve often grapples with various mental health disorders, ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex relational issues. Your expertise will assist them in navigating these challenges and support them in their journey toward mental health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid LMFT license in Arizona
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Demonstrated competence in developing treatment plans and providing therapy to clients
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach toward therapy
• Familiarity with digital health technology for remote counseling sessions

Preferred Experience

• Training or certification in addiction counseling or experience working with patients facing substance abuse issues.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices for addressing co-occurring disorders is highly valued.
• A history of successfully working in a therapeutic setting, managing a caseload of diverse clients.

Compensation and Benefits
