• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological effects of patients' medical conditions, such as chronic illnesses and pain disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs of patients.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including medical professionals, to ensure a holistic approach and effective coordination of care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to support patients in mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective response.
• Educate patients on the relationship between mental health and physical health, fostering insights that empower them in managing their conditions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient records.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary meetings, case conferences, and collaborative planning to enhance treatment strategies and ensure comprehensive care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in integrated care.

The therapist will primarily serve a diverse patient population facing a combination of mental health and chronic medical conditions. Our clients often struggle with the complexities of integrating mental health care with their physical health needs. By providing targeted therapeutic support, you will help these individuals navigate their challenges, improve their quality of life, and promote long-term recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• Proven experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong background in delivering integrated care and collaborating effectively with medical professionals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure confidentiality in all client interactions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and pertinent technology tools used in telehealth settings.
• A collaborative mindset with the capability to thrive within an interdisciplinary team.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with a focus on integrated care.
• Experience working in telehealth environments, demonstrating competency in remote patient engagement.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
