Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Bilingual Mandarin)


Reports To: VP of Integrated Services


About the Role

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) licensed in New York State to join our expanding telehealth team. This is a unique opportunity to provide impactful, one-on-one medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and counseling to patients across New York - all from the comfort of your home.


You'll work with patients managing chronic conditions, digestive health, weight concerns, and general wellness. This role offers clinical autonomy while being supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver one-on-one counseling and follow-ups via HIPAA-compliant telehealth tools
  • Accurately document all encounters in the EHR system
  • Collaborate with physicians, NPs, nurses, and care coordinators
  • Educate patients and families on dietary strategies and supplement use
  • Stay current on evidence-based practices and telehealth standards
  • Contribute to patient satisfaction and care quality improvement efforts


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) via the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) license in New York State
  • At least 1 year of clinical or outpatient nutrition experience
  • Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athena, SimplePractice, AdvancedMD)
  • Strong communication and tech literacy
  • A secure remote workspace with high-speed internet
  • Bilingual (Mandarin Chinese)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Medicare and/or Medicaid provider enrollment
  • Prior telehealth or digital health experience
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., CDCES, renal nutrition, pediatric nutrition)
