Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gain insights into clientsโ€™ mental health challenges, strengths, and coping mechanisms.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to client needs.
  • Implement therapies like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to foster therapeutic growth and resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive treatment plan for each client.
  • Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes designed to enhance client insight and understanding of mental health topics.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed, conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans for clients in high-risk situations.
  • Maintain detailed, timely documentation of all sessions and client interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
