This position will conduct quality improvement assessments, such as the Environment Rating Scale (ERS) Assessments, and Quality Achievers verification visits (virtual and in person) for child care facilities engaged in IdahoSTARS quality improvement activities, primarily in Regions 3, 4 and 5.

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
  • Experience training and/or presenting to adult learners within the last three years
  • Three years' experience in early care and education or related field providing direct services to children and/or families
  • One year experience with quality improvement assessments tools such as the Environmental Rating Scale
Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, human development, family and consumer studies, child and family studies, childcare and development, family relations or child development
Required Other
  • Requires the ability to travel between locations during the business day for meetings and support program activities
  • Requires the ability to travel to conduct assessments and verifications in Treasure and Magic Valley areas
  • Work nonstandard hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Additional Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with QRIS systems
  • Experience with the IdahoSTARS Project and RISE database
  • Experience conducting quality improvements assessments such as ERS
  • Three or more years' experience training and/or presenting to adult learners

Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree in early childhood education, child development, human development, family and consumer studies, child and family studies, childcare and development, family relations and child development
