Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake diagnostic assessments, including clinical summary and treatment planning to develop tailored therapeutic approaches.
  • Provide ongoing case management, including advocacy and resource linkage, to guide clients through their recovery journeys.
  • Deliver culturally sensitive care to individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring that services are equitable and respectful.
  • Collaborate with family members and caregivers to monitor behavioral changes and treatment responses, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and management strategies to support clients in acute distress, ensuring their safety and stabilization.
  • Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for accurate documentation, treatment tracking, and compliance with agency standards.
  • Contribute to team meetings and clinical case discussions to enhance patient outcomes and share best practices.
  • Participate in training and supervision programs to maintain licensure and enhance your professional skill set.
  • Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations, including HIPAA, to protect client confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Deep Understanding Healthcare Services, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mental health issues, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
