Position Overview

Riverbend Community Wellness & Mental Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality mental health support to individuals and families. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clientsโ€™ mental health concerns, strengths, and resources.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Focused Therapy.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s unique needs, with achievable goals and relevant interventions.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive client care, facilitating communication among all involved parties.
  • Offering crisis intervention services, including risk assessment and safety planning, to help clients navigate critical situations.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with ethical and regulatory standards to support treatment continuity and outcomes.
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions, psycho-educational workshops, and support groups to empower clients and enhance their coping skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client population, encompassing individuals of all ages who are seeking support for various mental health issues. This includes, but is not limited to, children and adolescents dealing with anxiety or behavioral problems, adults facing critical life transitions, and seniors addressing loneliness or depression. Your work will be pivotal in providing tailored therapeutic support that respects and responds to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each client.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms is a plus.
