• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing a range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive care strategy for our clients.
• Provide crisis intervention assistance for clients in acute distress or emergency situations, demonstrating empathy, expertise, and swift problem-solving skills.
• Actively participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives to enhance awareness of mental health issues and eliminate stigma associated with seeking help.

The client population we serve includes individuals from varying socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities, and backgrounds, many of whom face multiple barriers to accessing mental health care. As a Mental Health Counselor at Allied Mental Healthcare, you will work closely with diverse clients, creating culturally sensitive approaches that enhance engagement and foster therapeutic alliances.

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master’s degree or Doctor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity, providing effective care and understanding to individuals from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time management capabilities to ensure that documentation and client intake processes are completed efficiently.

• Experience working in a community mental health setting, particularly with clients facing significant life stressors or mental health crises.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and proficiency in documentation and billing practices.
• Previous participation in community outreach or educational initiatives aimed at mental health promotion is highly desirable.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
