• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms of mood disorders, considering factors like frequency and duration to provide tailored interventions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and preferences, utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Deliver therapeutic interventions using a client-focused approach, adapting techniques as necessary based on individual client progress and feedback.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing information on treatment options, coping mechanisms, and self-care strategies to enhance overall mental well-being.
• Monitor progress through regular check-ins, assessments, and feedback, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare providers to create a holistic treatment environment, ensuring that clients receive integrated and coordinated care.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of sessions, including assessments and treatment adjustments, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through case discussions, team meetings, and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in mental health treatment.
• Act as a proactive advocate for clients facing stigma and discrimination concerning mental health, promoting their well-being and access to necessary resources.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our diverse client base includes individuals from different cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques specialized for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatric professionals.
• A history of achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.

• Experience working in a community health setting, particularly with underserved populations.
• Knowledge of telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic modalities to meet individual client needs and circumstances.
