• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand patient backgrounds, mental health needs, and develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective remote psychotherapy sessions, adapting techniques to each client’s specific circumstances.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records by utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and ensure compliance with industry regulations and professional standards.
• Collaborate closely with a vibrant treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies through virtual meetings.
• Participate in case consultations and peer reviews to enhance the inter-professional support dynamic and improve the overall quality of care provided.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment modalities, and connect them with relevant community resources through digital platforms.

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these clients toward recovery and healthier coping mechanisms through remote support, allowing for greater access and ease of engagement.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Virginia.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience specifically in providing psychotherapy services in various contexts, including remote settings.
• Proficiency in employing solution-focused psychotherapy interventions suitable for digital practice environments.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families through virtual channels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively navigate challenges that arise in telehealth delivery.
• A demonstrated capacity for working both independently and collaboratively in a virtual team structure.
