• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients’ mental health history and current issues.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy discussions covering a variety of topics including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care doctors, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations and best practices.
• Participate in continuing education workshops and training programs to remain informed about the latest developments and therapeutic methodologies in mental health care.
• Contribute to program development by sharing innovative ideas that enhance service delivery and improve client outcomes.

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse client population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a multitude of emotional and psychological challenges. Understanding the cultural nuances and personal histories of clients is essential to providing effective therapy. Your ability to foster a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling, specifically working with clients facing emotional and psychological issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to quickly build rapport with clients.

• Experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and case management is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and telehealth practices.
• Previous experience working in community health or similar settings is valued.
