Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, enabling licensed mental health therapists to manage their schedules effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients’ mental health challenges and develop bespoke, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect individual needs and goals.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other applicable modalities to deliver effective therapy sessions to individuals and groups.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team meetings via teleconference, collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring timely and compassionate responses in emergency situations.
  • Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma within the community, engaging with diverse populations and enhancing overall access to services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will work with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds, addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. Your role will involve empowering clients to overcome their challenges and improve their overall quality of life. The varied client demographics will enrich your clinical experience and foster cultural competence.

Qualifications
  • Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity, competence, and adaptability to effectively serve clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting utilizing telehealth services is highly desirable.
