As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Deliver ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions to clients primarily via video chat.
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ unique circumstances and develop tailored treatment plans that resonate with their individual goals.
• Facilitate skill-building activities, helping clients cultivate effective coping strategies, problem-solving capabilities, and improved communication skills.
• Engage in ongoing communication with clients to monitor their progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide continuous support on their wellness journey.

Your primary focus will involve working with low-acuity adults who seek stability and improvement in their mental health. These clients primarily require support in navigating life’s challenges rather than crisis intervention, allowing for a positive and constructive counseling environment. By guiding individuals through their mental well-being with patience and empathy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or PsyD.
• Independent licensure with no requirement for supervision, ensuring that you can practice autonomously.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to your professional practice.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in using technology for counseling sessions.
• A stable and reliable Wi-Fi connection to support uninterrupted client interaction.

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience in outpatient settings, expertise in specific therapeutic approaches, or familiarity with teletherapy tools may stand out in the selection process. Moreover, a history of working with a diverse client population will be highly beneficial.
