In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, crafting individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support for clients struggling with a variety of mental health issues.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through personal interviews, standardized tests, and review of medical history.

• Develop thoughtful and personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, incorporating evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, mood disorders, and substance abuse.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, providing feedback and additional resources to enhance their therapeutic experience.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide referrals to external healthcare providers as needed, ensuring clients receive holistic support.

Your work will greatly impact a wide array of clients who may be experiencing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance abuse issues. You will engage with diverse populations, fostering an inclusive environment that respects cultural differences and promotes equity in treatment. Your therapeutic approach should be adaptable, recognizing the unique perspectives, backgrounds, and needs of each client.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience working with diverse populations and conditions.

• Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, including evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional skills in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Proficient use of electronic health record systems to maintain meticulous documentation and client tracking.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to building rapport with clients and colleagues.

Experience in delivering culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic interventions is strongly preferred. Additionally, candidates with prior experience in community health settings or those possessing knowledge of local resources for mental health support will be viewed favorably.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
