What is remote health informatics?

Remote health informatics is the field of managing and analyzing health information data using technology, often from a location outside of traditional healthcare settings. Professionals in this field work with electronic health records, telemedicine platforms, and health data systems to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and ensure data security. Remote roles in health informatics allow individuals to contribute to healthcare innovation and support clinical decisions from anywhere, leveraging digital tools and cloud-based systems. This flexibility makes it possible for healthcare organizations to access specialized expertise regardless of geographic boundaries.

What are remote health informatics jobs?

A remote health informatics job is a supportive administrative position in health care that allows you to work from home. Your responsibilities involve the development of methods to organize, analyze, and monitor patient records. Your duties are to track patient data, review medical policies and procedures, create and store documents, and work to improve clinical care. Remote health informatics professionals communicate through email and phone calls with IT staff and administrators and have limited direct contact with patients. Opportunities are available in hospitals, medical offices, and health care organizations as directors, managers, and analysts.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote health informatics specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Health Informatics Specialist, you need a solid background in health information management, data analysis, and familiarity with healthcare regulations, often supported by a degree in health informatics or a related field. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information exchanges, and certifications like RHIA or CAHIMS are typically required. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are crucial for interpreting complex data and collaborating with remote teams. These skills enable accurate data management, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making in a technology-driven healthcare environment.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in remote health informatics roles, and how can they be overcome?

One common challenge in remote health informatics is ensuring secure and efficient access to sensitive health data while working off-site, which requires strong familiarity with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity protocols. Additionally, remote professionals often need to collaborate closely with clinical teams and IT staff across different locations, necessitating excellent communication and project management skills. To overcome these challenges, it's important to stay current with industry best practices, participate in regular virtual meetings, and leverage secure collaboration platforms to maintain strong teamwork and compliance.

Job description

Forward Deployed Engineer

Delivery  |  Remote, US  |  Full-Time  |  NAM

Who We Are: Front Office Transformation Experts

Bluprintx (BPX) is a global, AI-powered consultancy built to design and deliver the intelligent front office for CMO and CRO executives. We are private equity-backed and scaling fast, with 300 active customers across 10 countries and more than 1,750 implementations. We connect people, technology, and AI to turn fragmentation into performance, partnering with global leaders to modernize how marketing, CRM, content, AI & Data connect. At BPX, we hire operators and specialists who thrive at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical execution.

What We Do: Cutting Complexity Across the Front Office

We help the world's most ambitious companies, including Uber Eats, BNY, and Xerox, untangle the operational complexity that slows enterprise growth. As a Gold Adobe Solution Partner and Salesforce Summit Partner, we deliver strategy and implementation across the full front office. Our proprietary methodology builds sustainable enabled ecosystems that maximize ROI and accelerate speed to market. By embedding AI into commercial workflows, we help clients move faster and stay ahead.

The Role

You'll be embedded within our most critical clients, working inside their team, their systems and their data. You'll be the connection between what the client needs and the full expertise of the BPX team, deploying BPX capabilities across marketing, content, CRM and data, with AI and agentic workflows behind them. You'll work in quick iterations: a first release live in weeks, then improved with each cycle, until the client depends on it daily. This is a role that rewards judgment as much as skill: knowing what is worth deploying, and saying no to what will not pay back.

What you'll do

  • Embed with critical clients, working inside their team, their systems and their data, owning work they rely on daily.
  • Deploy BPX capabilities across marketing, content, CRM and data, directly in the client's platforms.
  • Work in quick iterations, shipping a first release fast, learning from real usage and improving each cycle.
  • Make it hold at volume, building in evaluation, guardrails, monitoring and cost control from the start.
  • Pull in the right specialists, spotting what the client needs next and bringing the wider BPX team in to deliver it.
  • Turn wins into accelerators, feeding patterns and components back into BPX-OS for other engagements to reuse.

What you'll bring

  • Technical fluency across the front office stack, enough to deploy and configure directly in client systems
    • Hands-on AI and agentic workflow experience in live client work, running in daily use.
    • Rapid deployment instincts, comfortable shipping a first version fast and improving it in the open.
    • Client-facing confidence, working directly with operators and executives and adjusting as you learn what blocks them.
    • Commercial judgment to know what is worth deploying and to say no to work that will not pay back.
    • Comfort with ambiguity, moving from problem to live deployment without a fixed spec to follow.

Why this role, why now

Our most critical clients are asking BPX to work embedded, at their side, on the problems that decide their year. This role is where that happens. You'll see your work live within weeks, with real autonomy over what gets deployed next.

Anticipated base salary range: [$280,000-$320,000.
