Facility: Ascension St. John's Medical Group

Department/Specialty: Total Quality Management

Schedule: FT, Monday-Friday

Salary: $72,283.20 - $100,759.30

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Identify and close care gaps by reconciling payer reports with clinic rosters and leveraging data-driven outreach for high-priority populations.
  • Monitor and report on quality goals (HEDIS, CMS Star Ratings) to support incentive achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Translate complex quality data into actionable insights and clear reports, including building and maintaining digestible spreadsheets and Pivot Tables for clinical and market teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate payer data, ensure data accuracy, and confirm care gap closure.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration to drive performance improvement initiatives and organizational goals.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
  • Minimum Experience: 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within an ambulatory clinic network, outpatient group, ACO, or payer-side HEDIS quality role.
  • Value-Based Care: Experience working within a health system, ACO, integrated delivery network, or value-based care programs (e.g., Medicare Advantage) is strongly preferred.
  • Expert working knowledge of quality measurement frameworks, specifically HEDIS and related specifications.
  • Advanced Excel Mastery: Absolute expert in heavy data manipulation. Must be completely fluent in Pivot Tables, data cleaning, and advanced formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) to merge massive, disparate payer reports. This is an advanced data management role and does not require data science or programming.
  • Needs exceptional attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff, and the ability to act as a team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven quality environment.
